Ensure your goals can be quantified. Let's say your objective is to run more. Instead of keeping it vague, you could say, "I want to be able to run 5 miles without stopping thanks to knee pain."
Achievable:
While it's great to aim high, your targets have to be realistic. Assess your current fitness level and set goals that PUSH YOU but are still within your reach.
Relevant:
Your goals should align ideally with your broader fitness vision. For example, if your overall goal is to live a healthier lifestyle, ensure your other aims—like reducing fast food—support this for your daily life.

Set a deadline for your goals. This creates a sense of urgency and can prevent procrastination.
